In developing determinations, the Tribunal considers a range of matters including, but not limited to:
- existing salaries, allowances and entitlements
- other jurisdictions
- a selection of benchmarks
- economic factors
- feedback from key stakeholders
- the role and responsibilities of a member, former member, cross bench member and various office holders
- staffing levels provided in Ministerial and Opposition offices
- the composition of the Queensland Legislative Assembly.
